Permatex® Threadlockers are superior to conventional lock
washers, nylon inserts, and other mechanical devices because they
secure the entire fastener assembly against loosening from shock and
vibration so fastener clamping forces are maintained.
Threadlockers also seal the threads against leakage and prevent rust
and corrosion. |

Makes
reliable thread repairs without drills,
taps, tools or inserts. Restores
worn, stripped or damaged threads and
eliminates future corrosion, galling,
seizing and rust. Effective up to
128 foot pounds of torque and between
-65˚F
to 300˚F
(-54˚C
to 149˚C).
Repairs most metal-to-metal fasteners up
to SAE grade 5 English and 8.8 metric
(coarse and fine).
Suggested applications: Can be
used to repair stripped threaded
assemblies on a variety of different

PERMANENT Strength Threadlocker
A permanent, high strength
product that is applied to fasteners 3/8" to 1" (10mm to 25mm) in
size before assembly. Designed for securing parts that must
withstand heavy shock, vibration, or extreme chemical or
environmental conditions. Localized heating and hand tools are
required to separate parts. Suggested applications:
heavy equipment bolts, suspension bolts, gear bolts, railroad
assemblies, construction equipment, transmission shaft bolts. |

Large Diameter Threadlocker
High strength adhesive
for locking and sealing large bolts and studs 1" (25mm+) or
larger in diameter. Heat may be required to weaken bond
before parts can be disassembled. Threadlocker for heavy
duty applications. Prevents bolts 3/8" to 1" (10mm to
25mm) from loosening due to shock, severe vibration and heat
stress. Exclusive formulation for high performance
applications that require extreme temperature resistance.
Suited for temperatures up to 450˚F
(232˚C).
Removable with heat and hand tools. Suggested
applications: Frame brackets, hydraulic press studs, shock
absorber mounts, frame bolts. |

Penetrating Grade Threadlocker

A low viscosity
threadlocking liquid that wicks along the thread of preassembled
fasteners to secure them in palace. Since it is applied
after assembly, preventative maintenance procedures are
simplified. Ideal for fasteners ranging from #2 to 1/2"
(2.2 to 12mm) in size. Localized heating and hand tools
are needed for disassembly. Suggested applications:
preassembled fasteners, instrumentation screws, electrical
connectors, carburetors. |
